NATIONAL BULK VENDORS ASSOCIATION - NBVA

NBVA Appoints Bernie Schwarzli to New Membership Chairman

Bernie Schwarzli, president of Beaver Machine Corporation

CHICAGO, Ill. - To continue building and expanding on membership opportunities, the National Bulk Vendors Association (NBVA) has appointed Bernie Schwarzli, president of Beaver Machine Corporation, to the position of new membership chairman. In his new position, Mr. Schwarzli will be responsible for increased recruitment and retention of membership for the Association.

With decades of experience in the bulk vending industry and more than 20 years as an association member, the decision to appoint Mr. Schwarzli to this position was an easy one for NBVA president Daniel Case.

“Bernie has expressed an interest in working for the Association many times,” said Mr. Case. “The desire to serve in this capacity, combined with his exceptional knowledge of the industry, made him a logical choice for the position of new membership chairman,”

To best serve the needs of Association members and further develop and expand on the scope and responsibility handled by the Association's membership committee, Mr. Schwarzli's immediate goals as new membership chairman include:

  • Increase and expand communication with new and existing Association members
  • Create key alliances with bulk vending industry trade publications to reach a wider audience base
  • Work with the NBVA Web site, to provide the best information possible to members and potential members

“As the demands of our industry continue to grow, we need to create a solid industry base for bulk vending operators and suppliers to rely on,” said Mr. Schwarzli. “Addressing changes in the industry for our members means that we are consistently redefining goals and priorities, as we continue to expand and develop this position, to best support our members and their businesses to the fullest extent. We will be working diligently to ensure our members - and potential members - see positive changes in the near future.”

Prior to his new position with the NBVA, Mr. Schwarzli's experience includes a lifetime in the bulk vending industry, watching his father Joseph Schwarzli found and operate Beaver Machine Corporation (Machine-O-Matic, Ltd.) more than 42 years ago. Bernie has been an employee with Beaver Machine Corporation for more than 33 years, and has served in his currant role as president of the company for more than 6 years. Mr. Schwarzli is an active member of the NBVA, and has been for more than 20 years.
