Notre Dame sessions focus on business issues related to the industry INDIANAPOLIS - The AMOA National Dart Association (NDA) congratulates Mike Zappa of Lorain Music in Crestline, Ohio who is the recipient of the NDA's first scholarship to the Amusement and Music Operators Association (AMOA) Notre Dame Management Development Program. This program is designed specifically for the coin-op amusement, music, and vending industry.Notre Dame sessions focus on business issues related to the industry and are patterned after Notre Dame's Executive MBA program. Many of the topics covered in the program include: Strategic Planning for Small Business, Business Law, Communications, Customer Service, Current Industry Legal Problems, Economics and the Music/Games Industry, Financial Analysis of Equipment Inventory, Making Technology Work for You, Understanding the Evolving Customer, and Public Relations. Zappa will be part of Class XIII and attending courses through October 2008. The scholarship includes full tuition, housing for all five sessions and a travel allowance for each session. As part of the requirements of receiving the NDA Scholarship, Zappa has agreed to complete the entire two-and-a-half-year program as well as serve in two leadership roles within the NDA. Class XIV of the program will begin in October 2008; therefore, scholarship applications will be available in January 2008.
