Board recognized Leslie Murphy, past Executive Director, for her nine years of service to the NDA.
INDIANAPOLIS – The Board of Directors of the AMOA National Dart Association recently gathered in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Board discussed the recognition of soft-tip darts as a sport by the International Olympic Committee and agreed to do further research on the matter. They also discussed the NDA’s biennial educational conference for coin-operated vending companies, Dart Summit. The location for 2008 will be Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Board approved a change in policy to require that players must obtain their qualifying games for Team Dart over at least an eight-week period rather than the previous four-week requirement.
