Vending Solutions has entered into a joint-venture agreement with Pelican
Pelican Communications, Inc., a National Vending and Amusement Management Company,
The agreement was finalized at the AMF corporate offices in Mechanicsville, Virginia on Monday, November 14 between Mr. Scherer & Fred Hipp, AMF's President and CEO. Also participating in the negotiation of the agreement were Chuck McAuley & Merrell Wreden of AMF as well as Rob Cavanaugh of Vending Solutions. Vending Solutions has entered into a joint-venture agreement with Pelican and is responsible for managing the beverage portion of the rollout as well as managing a National call center for all service and maintenance issues. Assisting Mr. Scherer from Pelican were Steve Walton & Sean Hanna.
In addition, Pelican has been awarded the management agreement for all amusement coin-op equipment in 11 districts of AMF throughout the U.S. The rollout for the amusement segment of the agreement has already been initiated with the vending segment to begin shortly after the first of the year. Pelican looks forward to working with its respected amusement and vending “partners” throughout the country to bring the highest possible level of equipment and service to AMF.
