9/6/05 The following e-mail was received from Valerie Cognevich, Editor of Play Meter Magazine

“To all of you I apologize for this mass mailing, but today is the first day after the hurricane I've been able to communicate. Cell phones were useless. Anyway my house is devastated, I have no car, and everything I own was destroyed. But on a happy note: my family is OK and I wouldn't have it any other way.

No one heard from us for so long that my brother drove down from Virginia and brought me back with him. I'm at my mom's, and I can now check my e-mail. I know you have been worried, and all I can say is that whatever you saw on TV, it was worse living through it."
