SEGA AMUSEMENTS USA, Inc.

SEGA and buckmasters host a successful extreme hunting 2 Tournament at the Buckmasters expo

Luke of Robertsdale, AL wins the Deer and Shotgun Tournament

Elk Grove Village, Ill. – The 13th Annual Buckmasters Expo had another great turnout this year as hunters from all over the country visited Greensboro, N.C., to see the latest from Expo vendors and sponsors. Sponsors for this year’s expo, held July 28-30, included such names as Chevrolet, Morrell Manufacturing, Remington Arms Co., Scent-Lok, The Outdoor Channel, US Smokeless Tobacco, the US Army, NAPA Auto Parts, Yamaha, Hooters, and Sega Amusements USA, Inc.

The Young Bucks Pavilion was the place to be at this year's Buckmasters Expo as hunters of all ages had a blast with the Extreme Hunting 2 –
Tournament Edition™ Buckmasters Deer and Shotgun tournament hosted by Sega Amusements USA, Inc. Players were invited to participate in the free tournament, in which the 1st place prize was a 52” Buckhead™ Gunmetal Fan, Tink's® Scent Combo, Lets Step Outside country music CD and more by SEGA and Buckmasters. Luke of Robertsdale, Ala., was the top scorer with 28,159 points, followed by Jacob with 25,403 points. Jacob won a Morrell archery target. The Buckmasters Deer and Shotgun Tournament awarded the top 30 winners, giving consumers plenty of opportunities to take home prizes.

The tournament was held on 10 Sega Extreme Hunting 2 – Tournament Edition™ video game cabinets, which collectively brought in an impressive 970 game plays.

Sega Amusements USA, Inc. also had two 50-inch monitor Deluxe games in the lobby of the expo that were independent of the tournament held on Sega’s ALL.Net online platform. One of the two Deluxe machines was set at $1 per play. Each dollar earned was donated by Sega Amusements USA, Inc. to the Buckmasters American Deer Foundation (BADF). BADF is a non-profit organization that seeks to carry out the mission of making a real difference for real people. Local Buckmasters chapters hold events and raise funds for the BADF to conduct hunts for the disabled, Life Hunts for wish grants, scholarships, and venison food drives. For more information on the BADF, visit

This was another successful chapter in the relationship between Buckmasters and SEGA. Watch for more new and exciting ventures in the future. For news and tournament updates check out

About Extreme Hunting 2 - Tournament Edition™/ALL.Net
Sega’s Extreme Hunting 2 — Tournament Edition™ is the newest installment of the former Sammy hunting franchise, a direct result of the merger of the two successful companies. This version extends the franchise’s already superior scene design, true-to-life animations, and wide variety of wild game. Sega has also added an online tournament component, ALL.Net, which allows players to compete with others across the nation, and join the Extreme Hunting database. Extreme Hunting 2 — Tournament Edition had a fantastic unveiling at the 2006 ASI Show and is proving to be a much anticipated industry hit.
