The 2006 IAAPA trade show brought incredible interest in Sega product by many eager buyers. The booth was constantly packed with many attendees seeming to make a specific trip to see the Sega world. One of the company’s headliners was Afterburner Climax™, a true crowd pleaser, as was witnessed at the show as well as at AMOA in September. In its first month of exposure, the market has been highly responsive, and just days after the show, Sega is ready for a great rollout. “The predecessor Afterburner™ was a blockbuster!” states Director of Sales and Marketing, Ron Malinowski, “Incorporate our new Lindbergh™ hardware and corresponding cabinet motion, and you’ve got “Hit” written all over it.” 
About Afterburner Climax™• Powerful sequel to Sega hit Afterburner™ • On the Lindbergh™ hardware system delivering groundbreaking depths of play and graphics. • Featuring top fighter planes of today’s era including the F-14 Super Tomcat, F-15E Strike Eagle and F/A-19E Super Hornet. Each aircraft is offered in 4 color variations, and fully loaded with guns and missiles. • 20 new stages from Volcanic Islands and Iceberg Base to the Nuclear Arsenal, plus secret and extra stages. • Players are faced with Critical Commands for specific missions or altered enemy patterns. • Climax Mode is used to slow enemy motion by increasing speed or accomplishing a mission. • High-tempo background music intensifies the aura of the game. • Game carries an AAMA Rating of Green for all ages. Cabinets Configurations • The Standard cabinet is an aesthetically attractive, stationary cabinet with a cockpit seat. • The Deluxe (Commander) cabinet is simulated and tilts side to side for a realistic experience. • The Super Deluxe cabinet is a Simuline mover with up down and side to side motion.
