$650,000 in cash and prize Calgary AB -- Canada’s largest pool hall (Calgary Olympic Oval) is the host venue for SML Entertainment’s 8-ball Team Championships where approximately 3,000 male and female players will battle for $650,000 in cash and prize.“The team competition (consisting of five or more players) is our most popular tournament and also one of the most competitive and every skill bracket from beginners to the master player,” says Dean Fisher, Marketing Director, SML Entertainment. “Teams will cue it up for seven days to earn bragging rights as the best team in their division and the privilege of advancing to the VNEA (The Valley National 8-Ball League Association) playoffs in Las Vegas, Nevada later this year.” All SML Team Championship 8-ball games are played on Valley pool tables that cover the floor of the Olympic Oval.
