S& B Candy and Toy Company
S&B Candy and Toy Company Introduces a Revolutionary New Multi Use Route 66
Crane.

5.5” Balls are dominating crane sales
5.5” Balls are dominating crane sales. With that in mind we designed our new
27.5” x 27.5” crane. Five balls fit perfectly, covering the play field
without leaving any air pockets, which is why our 27.5” holds just as many
balls as our 31” crane. How can that be? We’ve lowered the play field 1”
and picked up ½” on each side of our new prize chute. This is the official
ball crane of the industry! 1991-92 was the birth of the 25¢ Winner-Every-Time Candy Crane. S&B was the
first company in the industry to ship candy crane mixes and first to
implement the current trend of offering free freight. The 24” candy crane
at 25¢ is an industry standard. 2007 is the birth of the 50¢
Winner-Every-Time crane. Once again, S&B is at the forefront of the
innovation. The 27.5” crane with our custom music mixes rocks! As history
tends to repeat itself, you’ll enjoy the success of the new 27.5” candy
crane, as this is a new industry standard.
Plush! What would a crane route be without plush? Once again, with our new
design, our 27.5” crane rivals the 31”. We have experienced positive
results and feedback from operations and location owners. They love the
scaled down look, which displays the plush to it’s true potential. Once
again, this will become an industry standard!
According to industry census, “Prize Dispensing Equipment”, a category that
includes Cranes, shows it to be the second largest revenue source in the
coin-operated amusement industry. More that 75% of the cranes in the field
were set at a 50¢ vend, although $1.00 vend was becoming increasingly common
in many upscale locations. Average return on investment on cranes is less
than 9 months with an equipment life span of 10-12 years.
S&B’s new 27.5” 50¢ multi-use crane has just made crane history.
