STERN PINBALL, INC.German Pinball ChampionshipThe German Pinball Championship just wrapped up and was a great success. Sponsored by one of Stern Pinball's German distributors, Gauselmann/MEXIM, and arranged by the German Pinball Association,
The tournament featured eight new Stern pinball machines, including three ELVIS and five SOPRANOS®. There were an additional sixty older pinball machines, all fit and ready to play.
The tournament began on Saturday June 4th at 4PM and ended at 2:45AM the following morning. Andreas Harre, a forty-one year old from Burgdorf, Germany prevailed over the competition, which included the standing European Champion. The semi-finals were played on an ELVIS pinball, while the finals were played on a SOPRANOS® pinball machine. Andreas will next fly to the PAPA World Championship (August 11-14, 2005) in Scott Township, Pennsylvania to compete for the world title.
