“The existing weld shop will be moved to the new area which will allow us to expand our weld shop and at the same time increase our assembly area,” said Vice President Todd Thieman. The expansion will increase the plant size by 25% to a total of 120,000 square feet. This is Thieman's second expansion since 1998 when a 20,000 square foot assembly area was added.
Thieman Tailgates markets a full line of hydraulic liftgates, with lift capacities from 1000 to 6600 pounds, for light, medium and heavy duty trucks and trailers. Stowaways, railgates, sideloaders, toplifters, and conventional models are all part of the Thieman line.
