SCHAUMBURG, IL – Oct. 12, 2005 – TLC Industries, Inc., appointed S&S Public Relations veteran Rebecca Jurek as Marketing and Public Relations Director to lead the strategic marketing campaign and launch several new products. Jurek previously served as an account supervisor at S&S Public Relations where she coordinated the public and media relations the firm’s high-tech accounts.
“Rebecca’s experience in public relations and new product launches is an ideal fit for TLC Industries because we are trailblazing a path for consumers to play arcade games on premise and continue the play online,” said Bob Goodman, Director of Sales for TLC Industries. “We expect that Rebecca’s knowledge of these areas will play an important role in raising TLC’s profile which will drive business for our arcade and online portals.” “People are looking for something different. There is a growing need for games that are exciting, challenging and suitable for all ages. TLC combines the nostalgia of arcade games and the 21st century technology of downloadable games,” Jurek said. “One of my top priorities is to launch a new coin-op arcade game that can be played on premise and an online version that can be played at home.” Jurek has extensive professional experience in both marketing and public relations and graduated with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Iowa. Before joining TLC Industries, Jurek worked as an account supervisor for S&S Public Relations, a multi-million dollar public relations agency based in Chicago.
