TOUCHTUNES SAYS 2005 SET A RECORD FOR DIGITAL JUKEBOX SALES

DECEMBER ALSO A WINNER

LAKE ZURICH, Ill., Feb. 14, 2006 — TouchTunes Music Corporation, the

leading brand of digital-downloading jukeboxes and jukebox music services, reported record-setting sales of 5,206 jukeboxes in 2005, up 108 percent from the 2,497 jukeboxes sold in 2004, according to Dan McAllister, TouchTunes sales and marketing vice president.

TouchTunes also set a new one-month sales record in December, when it sold 726 units, up 334 percent over the 167 units sold in December 2004, McAllister says.

With an online network of approximately 16,000 digital jukeboxes, TouchTunes has an estimated 75 percent share of the market, the company says.

TouchTunes unveiled its newest floor-model jukebox, the Allegro, in December. The Allegro, which offers advances in visual appeal and product durability within a smaller footprint, is already back-ordered to the tune of nearly 500 units, McAllister reports.

“If we had the product to ship, our January sales might have matched December’s,” McAllister says.

TouchTunes president and CEO John Perrachon says credit for the company’s dominant popularity among jukebox operators goes beyond hardware, software, music services, and sales promotions. “It’s also a tribute to the depth, knowledge, and personal dedication of our sales and sales support, technical support, and field training people. We’ve made an unusually substantial investment in customer support. No other vendor in our industry goes to greater lengths to help its operators prosper.”

Among examples, McAllister points to instances where TouchTunes provided same-day delivery of replacement parts to operators caught in a bind. “We’ve also had instances where our field sales people, in a pinch, cannibalized their own sales-demo units to get their hands on a part for an operator facing a big revenue weekend at a major location,” he says.

McAllister says operators have been pleasantly surprised when TouchTunes inside sales reps suggest that some of their jukeboxes would be more profitable on a cheaper music service plan, even though that means less immediate revenue for TouchTunes.

“By helping operators be more profitable, they've repaid our efforts with brand loyalty and repeat sales,” McAllister says.

A U.S. corporation, TouchTunes’ sales and service headquarters is in Lake Zurich, Ill., a northwest suburb of Chicago; executive offices are in Montreal, Canada.
