Tad Mauro and Pat McMullan Join Digital Jukebox Leader in Statewide Sales Posts

LAKE ZURICH, Ill., — TouchTunes Music Corporation has hired Tad Mauro and Pat McMullan for the new positions of Illinois sales manager and Illinois sales and service representative, respectively, focusing on the Chicago metropolitan area, including neighboring northwest Indiana, plus smaller markets “downstate.”

Both report to Dan Clarton, TouchTunes director of sales, and will work in collaboration with Scott Dougherty, who recently joined the digital jukebox leader as Midwest regional sales manager and added Illinois to his territory on May 1, 2006.

“With our North American sales and service headquarters in suburban Chicago, we want to capitalize on our ability to offer terrific service and support to operators in our home market,” Clarton said.

Clarton said Mauro and McMullan will function as a distribution sales team to operators in the territory, who will be served by TouchTunes’ new warehouse operation in Lake Zurich, Ill., part of the sales and service hub.

Before joining TouchTunes as Illinois sales manager, Mauro was a sales representative for Chicago-based distributors Betson Midwest, Atlas Distributing, and American Vending Sales. “I’m happy to be part of one of the industry’s premiere companies and the one with the most widely accepted digital jukebox,” Mauro said.

McMullan, previously a sales rep with Atlas Distributing, brings both TouchTunes factory and distributor sales experience to his new job: Before joining Atlas, he worked in sales for TouchTunes. “TouchTunes really has its act together and offers the best of everything for the operator,” he said.

“Rather than trying to be jacks of all trades in the coin-machine business, both say they’re happy to be focusing their attention solely on the music business and its profit potential for operators,” Clarton said.
