TOUCHTUNES WILL AUCTION SPECIAL-EDITION JUKEBOX
AT ASI SHOW TO BENEFIT CANCER ORGANIZATION
|
Proceeds Earmarked for the Lance Armstrong Foundation
Donation To Be Given in the Names of
Four Employees Who Are
Battling the Disease
LAKE ZURICH, Ill., — TouchTunes Music Corporation will hold a silent auction at the upcoming Amusement Showcase International Show (Booth No. 826) for a special-edition digital jukebox it created in recognition of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which supports efforts to help those with cancer, and four TouchTunes employees who are battling the disease.
TouchTunes will match the winning bid for the jukebox and will donate the entire proceeds to the foundation, launched in 1997 by cancer survivor and seven-time Tour de France bicycle race winner Lance Armstrong.
The donation will be made in the names of TouchTunes employees Paul Amoroso, technical support representative, and Dan Clarton, director of sales, both based in the company’s Lake Zurich, Ill. sales and service headquarters; Kyle Peppard, national accounts sales representative in Tacoma, Wash.; and a colleague in the company’s Montreal corporate office.
The jukebox bears the word “Livestrong,” the name of the foundation’s survivor care program, and the motto, “Living With, Through and Beyond Cancer.”
Individual contributions can be made online at www.livestrong.org/grassroots/touchtunes.
