TRANSACT GAINS MOMENTUM WITH JCM AMERICAN ALLIANCE THROUGH EXCLUSIVE AGREEMENTS IN GAMING INDUSTRY

Epic™ 950 Expands Market Share of TransAct Printers

WALLINGFORD, C onn., – TransAct Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ: TACT), the leading producer of transaction-based printers for customers worldwide, has been gaining momentum and experiencing rapid success with its JCM American partnership. Since forming the alliance in 2005 at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), TransAct has seen exponential growth of market share printer exclusivity with the introduction of the Epic 950.

In addition to Harrah’s/Caesar’s, Foxwoods and Wynn, who are already exclusive users of TransAct printers, in recent weeks, sixteen casinos have executed exclusivity agreements for the TransAct Epic950 printer, including:

  • Sands Regent Corporation – Dayton Casino, Depot Casino, Gold Ranch Casino, Rail City Casino, Red Hawk Casino, Sands Regency Casino
  • Gulfside Casion Partnership
  • Hobey’s Casino
  • Pala Casino Spa and Resorts
  • Barton’s Club 93
  • Silverado Casino
  • Bear River Casino
  • Grand Sierra Resort and Casino
  • Bordertown Casino
  • Silver Legacy Resort Casino

“The alliance between TransAct and JCM has brought gaming industry awareness of TransAct printers to a whole new level,” said Jon Berkley, Sr. Vice President and Business Manager of Global Gaming and Lottery for TransAct. “It has allowed us to communicate the superiority of our printer to the industry and make significant advancement of market share – proving the alliance is working and growing stronger every day.”

The intent of the alliance was to strengthen and promote TransAct’s presence in the gaming industry.  The two companies made a natural partnership, JCM providing Casinos with currency handling systems and TransAct providing transaction-based printers.  Through the alliance, TransAct and JCM are able to provide clients with a one-stop shopping experience that supplies the best products available.  In the past year, the alliance has substantially grown TransAct market share.

TransAct will be exhibiting the Epic 950 jointly with JCM at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, November 14-16 Booth #2057.
