ULTRACADE TECHNOLOGIES DELIVERS NEW FEATURES TO BREEDERS’ CUP – TOURNAMENT EDITION
Networked Coin-op Machines Update Automatically with New Features to Enhance Operators Ability to Earn and Monitor

San Jose, Calif. – Sept.  2005 – UltraCade Technologies, the world’s leading manufacturer of classic multi-game video machines for both the coin-op and consumer markets, today announced at the AMOA show in Las Vegas, NV, USA that the highly acclaimed Breeders’ Cup – Tournament Edition™ machine now supports new features, including automatic collection reports, which offer the ability to print collection receipts from the machine, a breakthrough in the Coin-op industry. Operators also will find this new software automatically on their Breeders’ Cup – Tournament Edition machines via UltraCade Technologies’ free-of-charge network upgrade process. For the rest of this week in the Company’s AMOA booth #2433 all of the new features, including the hiscore competition, local tournament capabilities, collection reports, operator cards and the operator remote control tools, will be demonstrated.

“UltraCade Technologies’ goal is to create the most fun, best earning and easiest to operate coin-op machines; that philosophy is key to both our players’ experience and our Operators’ experience,” said David R. Foley, Founder and CEO of UltraCade Technologies. “With the seamless delivery via our patent-pending network system and several new features, we’ve simplified operators with ability to attain collection reports and empowered them to control their machines and setup local competitions on the machine or remotely via the Internet. These new features in Breeders’ Cup – Tournament Edition give operators more time to focus on business.”

Collection Reports
With the new collection report system, Operators simply insert a blank receipt or have the machine print a receipt onto a blank racehorse card while viewing the Operator Earnings menu. The card is then automatically printed with full statistics for the collection period, including total earnings and location pay-out amounts. Operators can also configure the reports to automatically deduct operating expenses, including the cost for new cards dispensed, network costs and local taxes. This new and unique technology allows operators to spend less time calculating a locations split and more time focusing on business.

Operator Cards
With the new Operator cards, operators can use the machine’s built-in racehorse card dispenser to create a new operator card or add an existing machine to their operator card. This card allows an operator to configure the machine and retrieve weekly earnings reports quickly and without having to open the machine.

Operator Remote Control
This recent upgrade includes an advanced accounting system, which allows operators to track and configure machines remotely for set-up and monitoring capabilities. Operators can analyze and re-configure machines anywhere that they have an Internet connection.

New Tournament Capabilities
Each Breeders’ Cup – Tournament Edition machine now can compete in hi-score competitions and local tournaments. Hi-score competitions are easy to set-up and require no effort from operators to calculate results. This new feature allows any machine to run an operator-defined competition with fixed or progressive prize options, which triggers the machine to automatically allocate a portion of the entry fee to the overall prize pool. Payouts are allowed for one to five players in this mode. Operators can also create local tournaments in a specific location or area so that more competitive locations can engage in friendly rivalry.
