markets, today announced the winner of the first annual Breeders’ Cup – Tournament
Edition™ – World Championship event as Graig Kinzler. Mr. Kinzler beat out eleven
finalists on Friday, October 28th to capture the championship title and win a new Dodge®
Viper™. The championship event was held at Belmont Park in New York one day before
the 2005 Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championship.A tremendous amount of excitement was in the air as the twelve tournament finalists competed on twelve linked Breeders’ Cup – Tournament Edition machines for the $100,000 prize pool. Tom Durkin, the official voice of Breeders’ Cup, was on hand to call the race. “Our Breeders’ Cup – Tournament Edition – World Championship event marked the first time any coin-operated company has offered a prize pool of $100,000, which generated a huge amount of excitement,” said Bob DeKett, Vice President of Business Development at UltraCade Technologies. “Seeing the enthusiasm from horse racing fans, the National Thoroughbred Racing Association and our twelve finalists signifies the strong following that the Breeders’ Cup – Tournament Edition game has.
