Vendors Exchange International, Inc. Vendors Exchange, MEI Introduce New Cashless Option for Amusement Industry

Both a standard and a deluxe kit are available

CLEVELAND, OH – Cashless in the amusement industry is now a reality with the introduction of the MEI Combo Acceptor and the VE Kit, available through MEI distributors.

Vendors Exchange International created this new system with MEI technology allowing consumers the option of using cash or credit card when playing games, cranes and other amusements. The system combines a MEI bill validator with built-in card reader and the VE kit. The result is an increase in impulse purchases while providing cash auditing, making machines even more profitable.

Both a standard and a deluxe kit are available, allowing operators to use basic or enhanced features. The standard kit provides a machine upgrade for credit card acceptance, bill auditing, forced settlement with the service card, and other features when using a MEI-MDB validator. The deluxe kit offers all of the standard features, plus it is configured to work with MEI-110 volt validators to provide credit card and bill acceptance in addition to coin auditing. The deluxe audit feature transmits all activity to the credit card server for remote monitoring. Options with the deluxe kit include; Door Open Switch, Cash Meter, Multi-Price capability and a Guaranteed Win/Second Chance option.
