JVL and Merit Entertainment Show Off Their Latest Countertops

On October 6th, 2005, Weiner Distributing was proud to host JVL and Merit Industries to show off their latest countertops here at the Weiner D showroom. Merit displayed their new ION, which includes a variety of new features including full motion video and an innovative new console-style controller. JVL displayed the new Vortex countertop, which catches the eye with sleek blue side lighting and a new control scheme featuring a single joystick and two buttons, in addition to crisp touch-screen control. Both machines also feature a host of new games, as well as plenty of our old favorites.

Rob Pritchard and Preston Nebel check out the
latest from JVL- the Vortex. The new control scheme,which can be
used instead of or in addition to the touchscreen on most games,
utilizes a joystick and two buttons to make gameplay more intuitive
and fun.

Wayne Knell stands proudly next to the new Merit ION. The ION now
features a controller with joystick and action buttons, providing
more natural and precise control. This console-style setup will appeal
to a wide variety of customers, including those who are accustomed
to home console gaming.
