Brad Brown Sends out 5th Game Review

Release of their 5th email game reviews of the 2005 AMOA Fun Expo Show held in Las Vegas

Brad Brown President of Worldwide Video has announced the release of their 5th email game reviews of the 2005 AMOA Fun Expo Show held in Las Vegas this last September. Said Brad Brown President of Worldwide Video; "we have taken the time to take a close look at all the newest games that have been slated for release in 2005 and 2006 and we have done a pretty comprehensive review of each individual games' features. We have the intention to share factual game information along with as many actual collection reports as possible. We ask for and normally get collection reports from quite a few operators around the country who are willing to share their results and opinions of the new games so that all operators have a chance to decide what might be best for them. Anyone who has access to our email reports can receive this benefit. These reviews and reports are on a weekly continuous basis."

Reviews include manufacturer, name of their game, how the machine functionally works, and either opinions or facts polled from other coin operators around the USA who are currently operating them. This information is generally useful for anyone considering purchases of new games, and or someone just wanting to know the specifics of a game.

AMOA REVIEW Part 5
I am going out of order a bit but we feel it is necessary to follow up with email about the Stacker, Pile Up, Snake Charmer and lighthouse. We would like to thank everyone who emailed us back with comments and earnings on the games. This type of information really benefits our industry. Team Play Inc, distributors for Police Trainer and Cross Fire Paintball gun games, has (2) similar games to the games we are talking about called Countdown and Match It. Match It - has a digital display and a word is on the display. Each individual letter starts to rotate and the player must hit the stop button on each letter to spell the word. As the word is spelled, the last couple of letters rotates pretty quickly to add more skill to stop the rotating letter on the correct one. Spell the word and it will dispense a prize of choice.

Countdown is similar, the number sequence is 9 down to 1. The numbers start rotating and the player must hit the stop button to show 9, then hit the stop to see 8, then 7. etc.... It you go out of sequence, depending on how many points one has to dispense a prize, the game is then over.

Both units appear to have approximately 8-10 prize rings for good size prizes (i.e. CD's, DVD's, Gameboy's etc). Win A Prize Also, I would like to comment on a unit that links up to 2 ticket redemption games called Win A Prize. Win A Prize was also in the Tsunami Visual booth and appears to have some potential. Win A Prize is a Stand alone Prize Dispenser that holds 1", 3" and 4" prizes. The key is that it will link with, up to 2, ticket redemption games. Win A Prize emulates the ticket pulses to the game as if the ticket dispenser was never removed. It then adds those pulses up and displays them as points. The more points a player accumulates the larger the prize won. Players also have the option to play a game more than once to acquire the points needed for a desired prize. Pretty interesting concept....

Worldwide Video is a national distributor and operator of coin operated amusements and is located in San Diego, California. If you wish to receive this and other previous AMOA game reviews that are already out in email format, please email Brad Brown at wwidevideo@aol.com and request to be put on their email list.
