GLOBAL VR®GLOBAL VR Installs Sega Service Veteran, Dave Cantrelle
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 5, 2005—GLOBAL VR® has installed Sega service veteran, Dave Cantrelle, as Director of Services. Bringing with him 20 years of coin-op GLOBAL VR has recently reinforced its existing infrastructure by promoting recent hire, James Harris, to Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service, and by advancing Regional Sales Manager, Tony Maniscalco, to Director of North American Sales.
Beginning with specialized training in Nevada, the gaming capitol, Cantrelle's involvement with video games has been substantial. His work history reflects a solid, progressively contributory stay at Sega Amusements USA, Inc. where he functioned as a Sr. Technician and Technical Services Supervisor, served as a Technical Services Manager and, finally, was promoted to Director of Service. At Sega Amusements, Cantrelle is credited with increasing parts and service efficiency, optimizing inventory, and growing Sega's presence by increasing confidence in the brand. “My goal as Director of Services for GLOBAL VR is to make the brand name synonymous with `Service Excellence', and to assist in transforming the service department into a strong force that will drive sales by creating brand confidence and loyalty,” says Cantrelle.
“As we increase our initiatives for expanding GLOBAL VR systems in the marketplace, the accelerated growth necessitates that we continue to strengthen our partnerships with our distributorships and enhance our relationships with our operators. Dave's established gaming background and experience will make him a great asset in this fortification process,” states Sr. VP of Sales, Marketing and Service, James Harris.
